To-do list for Christmas to get you prepared for 2022
From now until December 25th, a detailed checklist to keep you on top of the holiday game!
Decorate in early December!
The holiday season’s most anticipated portion is here. To allow the branches to fall before decorating a real tree, go shopping a few days in advance. Take the decorations out of hiding and consider whether you need to purchase any additional ones for this year. When the time comes, involve the entire family in the décor to make it a truly joyful occasion.
Gift Shopping
If you haven’t already, you need to get your gift list made and either go out shopping or get online and find the gifts for the loved ones on your list. If you’re shopping online, make sure you check deadlines for shipping to insure you get them delivered in time for Christmas!
Send holiday cards and presents early in December.
Sending cards and gifts to loved ones outside of the US should be done immediately. Check with the local US Postal Service to find out the final posting dates for domestic and international delivery.
Send a letter to Santa Claus in early December.
Your letters to Santa can be delivered by US Mail, but the cutoff date is often the first week of December. Father Christmas will write to you if you submit your complete name and address! Santa / Father Christmas, Santa’s Grotto, Reindeer Land, XM4 5HQ is his address.
Mid-December: Start wrapping your gifts
Start early so you can watch a fantastic holiday movie to pass the time. Don’t wait until the last minute. Need some ideas for wrapping? Why not use your creativity to create your own present tags and Christmas wrapping?
)
Create a grocery list and place a food order in mid-December.
Even if you won’t be able to buy the majority of your holiday meals until later, making a detailed list of everything you’ll need can help you relax.
Ordering in advance is possible for items like turkey and party food, but don’t wait until the last minute to ensure that you get exactly what you want.
A week before Christmas, organize your home.
Although no one really wants to do it, a thorough cleaning now will help reduce tension on Christmas Eve. You’ll feel a lot better after working hard to complete everything, from the oven to the toilet.
A week before Christmas, check your presents.
Do you have all you require? Are you certain you don’t have something lacking for your second cousin, Sharon? If so, make sure you have supplies on hand, such as batteries, so the youngsters can use their new finds.
Prepare for Christmas by doing your grocery shopping.
It’s time to go grocery shopping, armed with your reliable shopping list and a game plan. Set up plenty of time (you’ll probably need to wait in line) and be ready to choose a different item if the store is out of what you’re looking for. When you’re finished, treat yourself to one of the pies you cooked earlier.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all the folks at MSHealthsource.com!!
